Microscopic life is a hidden world most of us never get to see, but the diversity and wonder of organisms one can see in a simple drop of pond water is outstanding!
This page shows some of the videos I've taken using my own microscope and camera. I've attempted to name and classify the organisms where possible but such is the niche nature of this field of study that trying to identify some organisms down to species level is nearly impossible! Sometimes just admiring their anonymous beauty is sufficient ;-)
The videos are taken using different techniques such as brightfield and darkfield microscopy.

NOTE: Identification work is ongoing and, as an amateur, incorrect IDs are entirely possible. Any help is appreciated!
